Rapes in Ukraine: documenting the horror
Justice is at work in Ukraine to document war crimes, with the hope of one day being able to condemn the culprits. Women are, as in all conflicts, the first victims of the rapes committed by the Russians, even if many men have also suffered genital torture. These sexual crimes are often considered shameful by their victims who struggle to testify. Some have agreed to do so in this report in co-production with La Chaîne Parlementaire signed by Ilioné Schultz and Marine Courtade.
